Frame Villa

Nestled on a 600m² plot in Kerman, Iran, the Frame Villa is a 150m² weekend residence designed as a tranquil retreat from urban life. The project focuses on establishing a harmonious relationship between built form, landscape, and privacy, balancing functionality with aesthetics.

Site Strategy and Spatial Organization

The layout divides the plot into two distinct zones:

  • Public Zone (front): Featuring parking and an inviting outdoor seating area framed by lush greenery.

  • Private Zone (rear): Enclosed by the villa’s volume and surrounding wall, housing a serene swimming pool and restful outdoor spaces, ensuring privacy and intimacy.

Architectural Concept

Positioned at the center of the site, the villa acts as both a focal point and a privacy barrier. Its clean modern geometry is enriched with design gestures inspired by traditional rural houses, combining contemporary simplicity with vernacular charm. The orientation enhances the indoor-outdoor flow, encouraging a natural dialogue between architecture and landscape.

Interior Design

The interior embraces a cozy minimal aesthetic, echoing the warmth of rural homes. Natural materials, handcrafted details, and warm tones create an inviting domestic atmosphere. Large openings flood the spaces with natural light, reinforcing the villa’s calming ambiance and its connection to the outdoors.

Conclusion

The Frame Villa represents a fusion of rural tranquility and modern design. By prioritizing privacy, spatial clarity, and a strong connection with nature, this project creates an idyllic weekend sanctuary, offering both comfort and elegance.
